Christmas! Already?
Is it just me, or did it seem like to all you guys that Christmas came extremely fast this year? I'm pretty happy its here and all, but it just seems like it came too fast. It doesn't feel like Christmas this year. I guess it didn't last year either.. Living in Bend and not spending Christmas at our own house ever just makes everything feel different. Not waking up in our own house and sprinting down the stairs to our awaiting tree and stockings is something I just miss a lot. But, of course, it was fun this year too! I gave my parents some really pretty original artwork by Sarah Mikolowsky, and I made my grandparents a shadow box. This year I got a Blue Ukulele, some iTunes gift cards (and not to mention some AWESOME new music!), a gift card to Brian's House of Music in Bend, which means I can go and buy the Teal Electric Acoustic Guitar that I want to badly! Its a folk guitar, so its smaller and fits a smaller person better. The guitar I have now is a tad bit large for me, and harder to play. The folk guitar sounds just like any normal acoustic, but its thinner, and better in general for me! Plus it is polished maple wood, teal coloring, a bit smaller, new strings, glossy, and I can't wait to get it! I shall buy it Monday I think! And I cannot WAIT! Honestly, I just want to get home to Bend now. I'm in the valley now, and its great, but there is a new guitar waiting for me!! Heehee! Plus I got this REALLY cool abominable snowman hat! Its so fluffy!

Choir Concerts
Last Thursday I went to my friend Kaitlin's choir concert. It was extremely long, but she did a great job on her solo. A lot of key changes! I went to that with Kate Plotner, and after, her, Joshua, Kaitlin and I all went to cuppa yo for some delicious soft serve frozen yogurt which was great! Now tonight I'm at the Bend Childrens Choir concert. It's an intermission. I want a nap.

Decisions, decisions...
First off, it is incredibly frustrating to have a horribly itchy back, and try and focus on typing at the same time. Unfortunately, I gave my back scratcher to my friend Kaitlin. Therefore, I cannot scratch my back now, and it will remain itchy. Someone hand me a fork.
Alright. So, secondly, lets celebrate! 1. Its the Christmas Holidays! Thanksgiving just ended, now lets bring on Hanukkah, where I get to be jew-ish. HAHA! Get it? Coming up is the actual CHRISTMAS itself! Oh goodie! Happy birthday Jesus! 2. We have made it to a GRAND total of (drumroll.......) TEN WHOLE FOLLOWERS! What? Can it be! YES! It's true! Lets please get more though.
Uhm, shout out also to the Magnificent Person Of the Month (MPOM): This award is something I would like to start giving out once a month to a lovely person in my life (who know's how often I will actually remember to do that! We saw what happened with the 'word of the day.' Yeah, that happend twice. Lame.), and this fine December's award goes to the wonderful Kate Plotner! Ah yes! Another Kate! Although this mention should probably be extended from the first of November to now, because, yes, this fine lady was the driver to Portland to see the stunning Kate Nash, YES! yet, ANOTHER Kate! We are just awesome, might I add. I still daydream about that concert, and its been over a month. So great.... Anyway, Congratulations Kate Plotner! I doubt you read this! So I guess you won't really know... Shame.. But you won, good job!
Now to the actual point of the title, Decisions, decisions. I want to change the name of this blog, since I am not really writing much about pranks anymore. Its horrible, I know. But I just don't get as many opportunities now. And the people I really do want to prank, are just to slick, and get me first. I don't know what to change it too. Maybe I will set up a poll. Yes, that is what I will do! Great idea! I think I will now give myself a pat on the back. Oh, but it is still so itchy. Darn.

KATE NASH!
Two weeks ago I bought tickets to go to a Kate Nash concert in Portland. I've been nearly jumping out of my skin in excitement since then. Last night, I finally got to go! I went with some of my favorite people in the world! Kaitlin, KP, and Maya. It was the best girls Monday night out ever. We left school at 2:45, and drove to Portland. It was beautiful and high deserty the first half of the drive there, then suddenly we hit the valley. Trees popped up, and suddenly the rain was POURING. Hydroplating, trucks washing giant waves on us, and water was all over the place! Thankfully we finally made it to Portland after a long, and quite entertaining drive. There was one stoplight in Portland that we think may have been broken, because we sat there for what felt like hours! Soon enough, we made it to Nicolas's Lebanese food, chowed down on a pita as big as a large pizza, and ate many other fascinating things, like spinach somethings, and hummus, and this other thing.. Descriptive, I know. During dinner, KP looked at us and said, "Oh, and by the way we are staying in a hotel tonight," just as if it was as normal as "Go clean the kitchen Kate." That made us QUITE excited as I am sure you can imagine! Then, we were off to the glorious and magnificent WONDER BALLROOM! We arrived, found Danii, my wonderful friend from back in McMinnville, an original Odd Squadrian, and dug our way thru the crowd, searching for a great spot close to the stage. Eventually we found one in the far left corner. I didn't think it would be all that good of a spot at first.... Until Kate Nash came out on stage and started singing.... SEVEN FEET AWAY. She was AMAZING. SPECTACULAR! FABULOUS! BRILLIANT! TREMENDOUS! EXPLOSIVELY AWESOME! The whole concert was amazing, from the first loud song, "I Just Love You More" to the amazing last song "Pumpkin Soup!" Even the terrifying "Mansion Song" was performed brilliantly too, despite the freakish amount of vulgar and LOUD swearing. But hey, it's Kate Nash. She's awesome! Before she came on, a new British band, Peggy Sue, opened for her. I thought they were absolutely marvelous! Their songs were catchy and upbeat, with many different drum beats, an accordion, and some beautiful guitars! Immediately following the concert, I purchased an adorable, but far too large Kate Nash tee shirt with a bunny on it, and a copy of Peggy Sue's CD - Fossils and Other Phantoms - A high recommendation on my part. The CD was autographed by all three members of the band, and we talked, and it took all my self control not to start talking in a British accent myself. Their accents just rolled off their tongues so beautifully! After the concert, we drove down to VooDoo donuts, and bought ourselves some of the most delicious donuts I've ever tasted! I got a tiny voodoo doll shaped donut, and its always terribly heartbreaking when you have to bite the head off an edible food item that has animal or human characteristics. Soon, all of us being wiped out and knowing that yes, there was school the following morning, and it was three hours away, we drove to the lovely Red Lion hotel, where we exhaustedly lugged in our bags and suitcases and Lebanese food remains into the room. Room 240 I believe. The next morning we woke up at a hearty 5 Am, got together our things, and drove to a little cafe to buy coffee and croissants. These we enjoyed on the way out of Portland, and so began the long, tiring ride home. What a night.

Goals and Goodies!
Ok, so I've been swerving every which way lately, and I decided that I want to get everything in order.
My goals:
> Get my liscense!
> Apply for an Art School
> Raise enough money to pay for gas to go to the Kate Nash concert
> Get better grades
> Get organized
> Participate in NaNoWriMo this year and reach the 50,000 word point
> Move to our own house
(Keep in mind these are long term also.)
My goodies:
> Possibly moving?
> Kate Nash concert (Another possibility)
> Art Schools?
> Taking a class at PoetHouse! (Portfolio Design)
I really need to figure out some ways to raise money. I can only think of babysitting. Any ideas?
